Day 2
Genesis 1:6-8
6 Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters to separate the waters from the waters above.”
7 And it was so: God made the firmament and separated the waters under the firmament from the waters above the firmament;
8 and God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.
Did you notice no mention of good? it is also a remez. I Believe it is because of the fallen angels were there.
When one reads Psalm 18.8-16, which speaks of judgment, and the depths of the sea being exposed because of Gods anger, it is not surprising that the waters evaporated and filled the atmosphere, and above the atmosphere.
Psalm 18:16 The depths of the waters were exposed, the foundations of the earth were laid bare at your rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of your wrath.
The darkness that was separated from the light on day 1 has its echo here as well. The Jews have one of many approaches to the Bible called a Remez, it is a hint of something hidden in the text.
Because the idea in day 2 is also separation, well enough about water, but behind the scenes I think it refers to the separation between what belonged to the earth and what belonged to heaven, the rebellious angels, and the angels serving God.
